BBC Travel Centre has no association with any British Corporations with a similar name. Our name comes from the fact we started our travel operations working out of our restaurant in Koh Samui Thailand which was called Big Buddha Cafe - and later shortened to BBC Restaurant - see www.bbcrestaurant.com This was after we had started a Yacht charter business called Kia Ora Catamaran - see www.kiaorathailand.com, then the restaurant - www.bbcrestaurant.com then the travel company - www.bbctravelcentre.com then a property company - www.bbcpropertycentre.com then a rentals company www.thailand-rental-villas.com then a minibus and taxi company - www.samuishuttle.com While the Brand name BBC Travel is good in Koh Samui, when we got onto the Internet, we were getting a lot of enquiries from the UK for UK specific travel as opposed to Thailand related travel. So we changed the BBC Travel Centre website to focus on UK out bound "holidays abroad" and established another website to focus on Thailand inbound - www.flight-to-thailand.com With the power of technology today, we have some great search engines to help you find cheap flights, cheap villas, cheap hotels, tours, guides and maps and more. We have included the ability to pay online securely with your credit or debit card and using the power of technology like e-tickets, it is now possible for you to book nearly every aspect of your holiday electronically from home.
